So where are we anyways.... no place good...

So where are we in this collapse? I think we are getting close to the point where we go over the cliff. how long and how far to bottom is any ones guess, but once America goes over the cliff the plunge is going to happen fast. so here are my thoughts and observations on the current situation.

1. the new tax legislation:  this is going to make things spin out of control deficit wise. its basically a last gamble at having a society totally based on Ayn Rand, and along term destruction of the last of the social safety net. It is also going to cause a massive budget crisis, which may begin almost immediately (see point 2) and will probably finish off the US economy. All the big players are ready to dump American T-bills when the time comes and that will cause the cost of everything in American to skyrocket. as wages wont even come close to keeping up it will lead to a depression. a very bad one, but the seeds of this were sown 36 years ago with Reaganism and trickle down economics. the pain to recover from that is going to be long term. the world should not depend on America driving the economy any longer.

2. the possible default if the Congress cannot reach an agreement on the debt limit.: this will probably explode this week. the democrats are not going to go along with republican proposals, there is no return on doing so. oh the dems might get lots of money from the oligarchs but election wise it will  just hurt the democrats further and destabilize the country. if the republicans find a way to pass legislation avoiding the filibuster hurdle it will still be severely destructive to the economy.  there is no possible win here, any outcome will have very negative effects. a failure to come to an agreement may lead to an immediate financial crisis, esp if the no deal situation continues for more than 2, maybe 3 weeks at the outside. this will cause America massive economic problems in America in 2018 and beyond.

3. there is going to be a showdown between Müller and Trump. it will not end well, and we can expect further indictments at anytime. this situation will almost assuredly lead to constitutional crisis. no matter when this happens, whether next week or in 3 months it will  make a bad situation much worse.

4. war with North Korea: NK is going to continue testing rockets and weapons until they can guarantee the destruction of the US. at some point this is going to push America over the line and a war will happen. the best outcome is probably the destruction of the Korean peninsula and large parts of Japan. the worse case scenario is probably the destruction of the above plus 4-50 American cities.  no one will be a winner in this one. it will massively change human history and culture, forever.

5. war with Iran: Saudi Arabia and Israel are itching to attack Iran. again this isn't going to end well. Iran has hundreds of supersonic missiles designed to sink American aircraft carriers at its disposal. anything in the Persian gulf is going to be sunk in the first few hours. it will be the worst naval disaster in history.

6. if America attacks NK first its likely china will support NK. the potential for a conflict in the south china sea is enormous. again America will lose in any such conflict even if is the eventual winner. America cannot win any wars  its broke and its society is on the verge of collapse and civil war.

Im not the only person that sees this coming.  That is what scares me the most. monitoring the various blogs and news sites I look at, its obvious others are rapidly coming to the same conclusions that I have over the years. frankly I do not see how there is anyway to change things now. The event horizon was crossed many years ago, at the latest by 2001 and probably much earlier. now its like a coiled spring that needs to explode. It will.

all in all the cards are set, and the house of cards is about to collapse under its own weight. The end will not be good.

I am not enjoying watching this at all. it is horrible. but a collapse is necessary. its the only way to rebuild something better. the sadness is the number of humans that are going die as a result of the stupidity and greed of America as a whole. apparently the lessons of history have not been learned. He who does not learn from history is condemned to repeat it.
